"Check-in was a bit rough, our room was double booked. After about 1 hr, The staff made it right all was good. Room was upgraded and wife wouldnt leave it. Spa like. Pool was fantastic. Bear restaurant was really nice, lovely staff and bartenders. Ian made my wife a custom rum drink, she loved it. Its 10 out of 10. "

"A huge change. We stayed here awhile ago and there have been significant improvements - in the staff friendliness and helpfulness and in the comfort of the rooms. A smallish room but we were able to get the first floor that we wanted and the bed was comfortable and shower strong. Only comment is that the furnishings were a bit dated and not in the best condition (sheer window curtain torn, sink control leaking at the base, electric outlets on the lamp/desk were not tight enough to hold the plugs, safe not working). Nothing can beat the surroundings of the marina and walking paths. Just so peaceful. And of course, having our dogs, and other dogs, be able to stay is the best part."

"Excellent conversion of former Fort Baker to unique upscale resort hotel. Spacious grounds with multiple hiking and biking opportunities. Friendly, can-do staff. Wonderful breakfast with creative healthy options. Great location to explore Marin County and only 30 minute drive to Downtown San Fan, plus ferry. "
