"centrally located. Very unique property with incredible art work on display throughout the hotel. Actually wandered the other floors looking at the artwork. Staff is very and helpful considering I can’t speak chinese and their english is limited. The room was clean and modernized. Definitely coming back "

On the negative side the Internet access is really bad- even by Chinese standards and the mattress is quite hard."

"This was my 5th stay in Avira. When I checked in, I made a request for a sunny room facing the street. I was given a great room, xx31, between Oct 22-28. When I returned to Avira--6th stay--after a trip to Tianjin a week later, I was given a dark and gloomy room, xx06, facing the courtyard on the same floor despite my similar request. Two hours after, I approached the manager who was kind enough to make my wish come true. And switched me to sunny, streetview room xx33, Really didn't know why...

"Definitely one of my favorite places to stay in Beijing, there are great deal of hotels in Beijing, but Artyzen has most of the things you need without stress much of your wallet. Of course, it doesn’t have a swimming pool for those who love the water sports. Conveniently located with friendly staff. The cafe downstairs is perfect for foreigners staying in Beijing for an extended period. I strongly recommend artyzen"
