"Haus Windhook - Holiday Home Seeblick 2: Schöne Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung, tolle Terrasse mit direktem Blick auf die Ostsee. Einzig die Mücken waren etwas nervig. An den meisten Fenstern waren Fliegengitter angebracht, an der Terrassentür jedoch nicht. Frühstücksbuffet hätte etwas mehr Abwechslung bietne können - hätte mir noch etwas Gemüse und regionale Fischspezialitäten gewünscht. Rührei gibt's auf Anfrage - wurde uns allerdings zu spät gesagt. Daumen hoch, gern wieder!"

"The town of Wustrow itself does not have too much to offer other than a good beach. However, this hotel is really something special . The food on offer is superb and the breakfast selection is exceptional. Of the five hotels visited during our trip this one was absolutely top notch in the food stakes. Room was spacious and immaculately clean. Balconies are looking a little tired .The friendliness of the staff at this hotel was also very commendable "

"This was our first visit to this part of Germany and everything about the holiday was excellent. Everyone was so friendly and to be able to cycle so much to explore the countryside and small villages made it special. "The room was disappointing in that it was too warm during the time of year we visited (August) as no air conditioning. The window opened only a tiny bit. There is parking at the front of the hotel, but not too many spaces. We ate in the restaurant which was nothing to write home about. I did not notice any internet connection in the room, and feel this is vital for most travellers these days. Very pleasant hotel

"A very pleasant place to stay in a lovely town. Our room had a delightful view of the Ostsee and was most comfortable. I wish it had tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but never mind. The attached bar - the Rockeria - is a bit like a TGI Fridays, with the same varied levels of service you’d get there! One guy looked like he’d rather we weren’t there, and another - Marco - went way out of his way to make sure we were happy."

Overnight Stop on a Bike Tour

"Incredibly nice hotel for a good price. Able to book last minute and the staff was lovely when I arrived near midnight. The bicycle storage in the basement is one of the nicest features I’ve ever seen. Breakfast was excellent and the room was comfy and clean. Hope to visit Wismar again soon and will definitely book here when I do"
