"The front desk ataff was very welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately the breakfast was lacking. It was around 8 am and there was hardly any hot food left. A few other things which were appreciated since i had my young son with me. I've visited countless Holiday Inn Express hotels over the years and I've never seen the lack of food before. "

"We both said that we'd stay here again when in Round Rock. The heater worked quickly and well. The bed was comfortable. The curtains closed pretty well at night to make the room actually really dark. The shower pressure and temperature was consistent and strong. The couch was comfortable for sitting and having late night dinner in. There was plenty of space for luggage and not feeling overwhelmed. "Our Royal suite with in room Jacuzzi was great, except when the heater kicked out in the middle of the freezing night. Thankfully the heater in the living room worked and with it cranked up we were fine. Still enjoyed our stay. "

"The hotel was very clean!!! As was the room. Very modern. Not old. Only complaint was that room didnt have a heater, and we stayed during a 33 degree farenheit night. Other than that, breakfast was splendid, as was the free parking. Perfect room for just staying to sleep & leaving .. "

Great hotel in Austin Texas

"The hotel was lovely, very comfortable and friendly. Reception staff (especially Tess!) couldn’t have been more helpful. We enjoyed our cocktail and great selection of vegetarian small plates in the rooftop bar and sitting round the fire in the lobby. Unfortunately we arrived in an unexpected cold snap (-10C with windchill making it feel like-16C) so we left a day early to avoid driving in the freezing dark. Everyone was really helpful in facilitating that and ensuring we received the refund. Will definitely go back one day when it’s warmer and we can enjoy the rooftop bar outside! The only thing I would change is the cost of (valet) parking ($54 per night seems a lot and you can’t just go and get stuff from your car when you want)."

Hotel Indigo Austin Downtown - University, an IHG Hotel

"Lovely property, great staff, VERY clean rooms. I could smell the cleanliness level, for me, that was my favorite part. One of the elevators had an issue but they have a second next to it and it was fine. Indigo still apologized by offering a free drink at the bar or a free appetizer, which was thoughtful even though we had no complaint. I also love the security level they use for entrance to the floors and your room, you must use your card in the elevator to get to your floor. We chose to stay here as we stayed a year ago for the first time and it was lovely, and close to the Moody and 6th St. It’s perfectly located near enough to eateries as Stubbs is directly across the street as well. We will continue to choose to stay here any time we are in town for a show. "

Great location, spacious, well-equipped

"The title says it all. The property is located at the heart of Austin. We walked everywhere in the city. The staff was friendly and the apartment is well-equipped and spacious. We had noisy lodgers upstairs for the first 2 nights which is not the hotel's fault; however, it is worth noting that sound travels between floors. The big question is 'Would I stay here again?' The answer is Yes."
