"We were looking for a place near the beratan temple. This was just right in front of it. The staff were nice, helpful, and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. It has nice views of the lake. The rooftop even has nicer views. The welcome drink (ginger tea with brown sugar) was delicious. The mie goreng and nasi goreng for breakfast was also delicious. We enjoyed our stay. "

"There were ants on my bed. The staff changed the bed sheets, but there were still ants. The room was really dirty. Someone had smoked and left ashes on the side of the window. The building is very badly maintained. There was mold everywhere. I put my suitcase against the wall and it became white. The window didnt have a safety bolt. When i asked for a refund they refused. Overall i wouldn't recommend to anyone to stay there."

"Property is located right next to the temple granting free access by the lake. Rooms need a little love, but the property conditions re stunning. Best for the price!"

"Staff was trying their best, but seemed uneducated in hospitality. Barging into my villa without even knocking is never appropriate. The whole place seems to be under renovation and should be closed. Breakfast was ok, but the staff didn't understand to keep the items hot, just left the lids open. Dinner was a very limited emergency selection in a 2 hour window. I checked out a day early and moved on... "

Beautiful and memorable stay on Lake Beratan

"A really beautiful stay in nature, on the lake and surrounded by the mountains— every morning we wake up to breathtaking natural sights! We opted for glamping so it was a new experience. Unfortunately the stay wasnt as peaceful as we hoped— the establishment is unfortunately in between two campsites with campers who made a lot of noise singing karaoke till late in the night (past 11pm) and blasted loud music early morning (when we woke up 7plus am for breakfast). At night the insect sounds were also very loud— you need to be really tired from day activities to be able to fall asleep at night from all that noise from insects and nearby campsites! Otherwise I would definitely recommend Pondanu Cabins— to be surrounded by such beauty of nature and delightful staff — is truly a blessing a life. "
