Independent, Beckford hotels

"Loved the huge room but sadly it was extremely cold as the only form of heating was an air conditioner above the bathroom door. Needs additional radiators as the rest of the hotel appears to have. Corridors were very warm and bedrooms should be the same. Lovely stay other than that Would stay again "

"Overall my stay was very good. The staff and service was excellent. However, my room was facing the main road, and although my room was on the second floor, due the drafts from the gaps in the windows, it also allowed the street noise from those less fortunate to echo into my room in the early hours of the morning. Also on my final night, after i had eaten, i tired to get back into my room only or the key card to fail. After returning to the reception to get a replacement card, i tried again to...

Very comfortable bed with a selection of pillows.Very gracious staff. There are some stairs you must climb to enter the building. Staff will assist you if needed."

"Beautiful hotel and amazing staff (like Megan who was excellent). Made my wife and I feel at home. Megan served us at Breakfast and checked us in and out, all of which was pleasant and easy going. No fuss. Breakfast was excellent, great variety and top quality ingredients. The hotel is refined and in-keeping with the area. Every detail has been thought through. Having stayed four times, we will be returning. "
