"There is a building site across the road from La Maison Hibiscus. There are a lot of dogs in the immediate vicinity who bark noisily for extended periods. The windows don't shut properly because the metal bars on the inside block the handles from being moved to the closed position. The hot water tank is very small resulting in all but the briefest of showers running cold. The air conditioning was ineffective, blowing warm air. Even when left on overnight it did not get within 5 degrees Celsius...

"My husband and I stayed at Fisherman's Cove resort for 1 day before ending our entire trip in Seychelles islands. The resort accommodated our early check-in and late check-out requests which was truly appreciative. The staff was friendly and attentive. Amazing service!

"We had the best experience staying at this hotel—the service was truly outstanding! Every team member went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction and happiness. Raj from the buffet was always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Manoj, the chef, created delicious meals and even accommodated special requests with a smile. Cristin from the reception was welcoming and warm, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Rose at the restaurant provided impeccable service, always engaging with us and ensuring our dining experiences were flawless. What stood out the most was how each of them made personal connections with us, which made our stay all the more memorable. Great Value but Not Luxurious

"Coral Strand is one of the only hotels that truly is on the beach. The hotel in general needs updating badly but the amenities served their purpose fine. We asked for well-blended piña coladas, but the staff did not understand how tourists prefer their drinks. Mahek restaurant is the best for lamb curry. Find other food elsewhere."

"We've been back now for a couple of months, and, although very busy, I've had it in mind that I should give this hotel a (very positive) review! We stayed here twice during our trip to the Seychelles , for a few days each side of our cruise, and it was a great choice! A small 'boutique' environment and a haven of peace! The accommodation was very nice and also spacious with fridge, cooking and laundry facilities. The pool was nice, quiet, clean and pleasant and, again, very tranquil and relaxing. Breakfast was great, very flexible with timings and staff pleasant and helpful. A nice beach was only a short walk away, as were a few restaurants (a good Indian restaurant, moderately priced for the Seychelles was a favourite), and also a very useful mini-market for beers, snacks & food provisions when 'eating in'. Manfred, the manager, was around every day and happy to make recommendations and give useful advice (he spoke perfect English!), also just generally chat about life in the Seychelles! We would definitely stay there again if we came back to the Seychelles. "
