"The staff was friendly and very helpful. One challenge was that some rooms were not accessible by elevator. Once the elevator reached a floor, the rooms were up another half flight of steps. It was challenging for me who is a senior adult to get a suitcase up that half flight. I had to take it slow but managed okay. "Overall a good stay in a good location. My wife has mobility problems and we were unfortunately put into a first floor room needing her to walk up the spiral staircase which was rather slippery. The rooms are bijou and compact but OK for mostly just sleeping and showering in. The bed in 108 needs a new mattress! One of the main reasons for us booking here was the onsite EV charging which worked on our first night but then was out of order for the remainder of our 5 nights so we had to hunt down...

"Room was small, but clean. Room 102 has a bathtub. Bathroom was a good size. Breakfast buffet is included and was good. Much of the town is closed off-season. It was a challenge to find open restaurants. There is a laundromat 500ft away from hotel. "

"Our stay was better than we could have hoped for. The place is in a beautiful quiet setting outside of town. The facility and staff were amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna did not have time to get a massage but I’m sure it would have been great. We ate dinner there both nights and it was great! The room was great with a large shower/bathroom and lots of space! I can’t say enough how great the staff was and I would without a doubt recommend it to anyone."

"Our five night stay in this beautiful chateau was a delight. It is set in lovely countryside and is very quiet and peaceful. It is an excellent base for exploring northern Normandy. We drove to Mont St.Michel, Bayeux etc from here. You really do need a vehicle to get around. A few restaurants are 10 mins or so away in the local village. "Amazing place! So glad we chose to stay here away from the towns. We were still really close to Caen, Bayeux, and the WWII sites and even Mont St Michel! since we rented a car. They also upgraded our room to the deluxe! It was very spacious with amazing views from both windows. Highly recommend everyone to consider this hotel during their stay in Normandy. Oh and they also have like 5 kitties that stay at the place that are very friendly! Definitely a bonus for this cat lover 😅"
