"Our room was the smallest room I have ever been in. Almost no room to walk around the bed; no chair; no table; no fridge….there is a small bench which is hard as a rock. Hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Great location….. short walk to town. "

"Hotel locked on arrival. No advance warning that reception was not staffed. Supposed to open at 3 so went back then. No one turned up. Called a number stuck on the door and eventually got instructions on how to enter via the back door using a key pad number. Pity nobody thought to email that in advance. All in all, a total shambles. A place to avoid."

"The room was great and the restaurant was very good. The breakfast buffet was sufficient but not a lot of choices. The staff was very pleasant and several spoke English. The only problem we encountered was there were a lot of flies around the buffet breakfast which I know they can’t do anything about. Very convenient to Dinkelsbuhl. We would stay here again."

"A friendly group of people who gave us a warm welcome. We liked our room and were quite comfortable . We decided to have dinner in the hotels restaurant , but regretted that. The food was not so good. Breakfast was fine - just the usual breakfast items. A very small buffet area, but plenty of tables."

Fantastic stay and hotel ownership

"Hotel owner waited for us and was so wonderful. She explained the parking situation in the downtown area (metered parking off patrol from 7pm to 9 am) and recommended a restaurant as theirs is closed Mon-Wed. Room was a bit warm (no AC), but we opened the window and they had provided a fan which made it very comfortable."
