"Caution when booking this property through Expedia. We traveled to Germany from the United States, and when we arrived there, they did not have our reservation. After finding someone to speak English, she was able to locate the reservation, however, they were not prepared for our arrival. It seemed to be an inconvenience for them that we were there. "Very comfortable very clean room great shower, we checked in at around 7 PM. Nobody there, to talk to other than on the ring camera that kept going in and out at least I heard her tell me grab key number seven,, nobody around when we left the next morning, so it was like a hotel to ourselves with other people, possibly in there that I heard one door closed during the night. "Charming hotel in quiet area from what I perceive. Don't expect a 4 star. Good location as I was working in Gronau. Toilet roll and soap was never replenished. Hotel seems understaffed everywhere. However the staff were extremely kind and polite."

"For us the location was perfect just a 10 minute walk to the wedding reception. The courtyard with the different restaurants was really handy, and the staff were great at guving us details of the bus routes to get into the city centre. Was able to park our car in their underground carpark and didn't need it again till we left"
