"lovely restaurant/bar right next to a

and playground, great for families, plus a second playground. rooms were spacious and clean, plus a decent kitchen, parking right out the front of the room, can hire a portacot for a small fee. only downside i could see was only one split system in the living area, and only fans in the bedrooms, which would struggle on a very hot day but it seemed to manage for our weather overall fantastic experience"

"Beautiful buildings, the whole resort has a sort of nordic feel to it with the slate roof and white walls. The gardens are manicured to perfection. I love the restaurant and food options. Kids loved the

. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only have 2 negatives... we stayed in a single/queen room and the beds were very hard, also no microwave or food heating faciities. Just a kettle. "

"We were heading to Margaret River to follow our footy team and decided to make a long weekend of it and stay for a couple of nights. The weather was wet and very cold, but the Grande Escape turned out to be an excellent spot to stay. Our 2 bedroom unit was spacious, comfortable and warm, with very comfy beds. We headed to the restaurant at night and enjoyed a great meal and then sat by the toasty open fire and had a nightcap. The Resort is located about 2 minutes drive out of town and is set amongst beautiful trees and has a lovely pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will probably repeat it next year."
