There was so much black mold in the shower and the ceiling was caving on, looked like it could bust at any moment. Would never stay there again due to health risk.

Older hotel that has been updated. Staff is friendly and eager to please. There are no elevators, so ground floor may be needed for some. Location is good for south town events. Close to I-94 and M-66.

I booked a handicap room. When I got there, they gave me a room on the third floor and there is NO ELEVATOR to get there. After some haggling around, they finally put us in a ground floor room. They had to have someone come in to work on the television in the room because it was not working. Was not a really nice stay

When I checked in, I was sent to a room where the door leading to the adjoining room could not be locked. The faucet to fill the tub was not fastened to the wall. It was difficult to pull the lever up to start the shower. My room door did not close easily. The towels were of poor quality and could have been whiter/cleaner. When I went to get a cup of coffee in the morning, there was only Decaf. The regular coffee was empty and there was attendent at the breakfast site.

This property was deemed to be decent but when we got to our room we found our room door did not shut easy and realized the door was missing a hinge and the other hinge was falling off. We also had a chair that the legs were ready to fall off. The tv would not work. And the shower handle was wobbly. Went to service desk and was told there was nothing they could do with the door and just to slam it shut. Would not recommend

You definitely get what you pay for at this hotel. Our hotel room wasn’t outwardly dirty per se—however, it did have a bad smell, the sheets and towels were clearly used (stained yellow from use), and the carpet felt dirty. We didn’t end up using the pool area because it looked really dirty. That being said, I will say the breakfast was actually really good with lots of options and the staff were super friendly. I wouldn’t stay there again though!

I was over charged, the room smelled, customer service was very poor. The person that checked me in was new and lacked training. When some of these issues were brought up to the person the next morning, she didn’t want to do anything for me for this stay, just the next stay. I won’t be back!! I will sleep in my car first!!

The owner is amazing. She is so friendly. I love the Americana decor and the fact that the owners are really embracing being American. The other folks at the desk werent as friendly. Not rude, but not necessarily friendly. Note that there is not an elevator. There are only two floors, but i saw some people struggling to do the stairs. The rooms were okay. They are in need of repair, just typical older hotel stuff like chipped paint and water stains. I stayed there a few times. In one of the rooms i almost fell on the floor when i sat on the end of the bed and the entire bed tipped forward. In one room the lock on the door and the wall didnt even match up so i couldn't use it for extra security. The breakfast was the same every day but did offer some good options like scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, waffles, and a few other things. But a couple of times the "hot" food was still frozen and needed to be microwaved. Overall it was a good value.
