Everyone was polite and accommodating. The only issue I had was no outdoor lighting. Going to the truck in the late evening and packing to leave early morning we had to turn our vehicle lights on to see, I felt uncomfortable doing this as I did not want to disturb others.

The owner Frankie is a real people person. He likes to talk to his guests and tell them about the area. Spectacular views of the Bay can be seen from the parking lot. Their famous Apple fritters are just that, famous and delicious. It’s really a one stop stay with everything you need from camping supplies to gas to deli food to alcohol to their 17 North hoodies and tshirts, fantastic place!

Our room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and had all amenities we needed. We got take-out fish & chips from the on-site grill, walked along the lake, and rested well. The room came with a coupon for free coffee and (huge, hot, yummy) apple fritters in the morning! It was a great first stop on our trip across the top of Lake Superior!

Our room was almost like a one bedroom unit- very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed, including a store and a restaurant. It is right across the highway from the lake. There is quite a lot of highway noise but it was quiet at night.

We've been coming for a few years now, staff always great. Rooms clean (although bathrooms could use an update) and have everything we need. Love that they keep the property clean but its not wonderful that they use the leaf blower on the parking lot at 710am. Food in the restaurant is a bit pricey as well.

Clean, rustic and even had a screen door like camp. Price was amazing and included 2 famous Apple Fritters and coffee. Poutine had real cheese curds and the staff were amazing massive sandy beach across the road. Great place after a long drive

Loved the beach access and the amazing fritters provided each morning with coffee/tea. Everything we needed food wise was available on site and the location was convenient to exploring Pancake Bay and Lake Superior Park. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

I loved this place. It was such a breath of fresh air when compared to the overpriced, disappointing hotel rooms that litter the TransCanada. This was a lovely place, with lovely staff, and a handy store with great baked goods. For sure, would stay again.

My husband and I stayed here for one night aug 5! The staff are so nice and the food is great hamburgers 🍔 are yummy! And when u leave in the morning u are given apple 🍎 fritters! They are amazing 👏

Staff were helpful, polite and friendly. We stayed in room 4 and the main room was excellent but the washroom could use an upgrade. Having said that, the place was spotless and had everything we needed (fridge, microwave, TV, table and chairs, couch and a great big window). Location was perfect for our needs with on site general store, restaurant an LCBO agency store and a sandy beach across the street. We stayed 3 nights and will stay at the Lodge again in the future.

A cabin feel to the rooms and a stunning forefront with the ability to walk to the shore of superior. Outstanding staff and the free coffee and famous Apple Fritter.
