After numerous attempts to find out how to get access to the property (phone calls/voicemail/messages/what's app) I had to check my family (Me, my Wife my 4 year old and 6 year old) into a hotel at 8pm. When I finally got a response to my messages my children were asleep in the hotel room. The person who contacted me still failed to provide any method of me accessing the property. "Property is self catering house at edge of the town. Spacious and decent kitchen. Road quiet (liked that) and easy access to nature reserve/countryside walks. Parking a bit of an issue but didn’t detract from our stay. "

"We did not receive the check-in details via e-mail so could not check in and ultimately not stay overnight. The phone number that was with the booking was supposed to be a helpdesk with the operator being anything but helpful. We had a look for help at the property but could not find anyone on two separate occasions; we were also astounded to discover that the accommodation was in the middle of a wedding venue and NOT the wedding we were attending. "Served its purpose for a one night stop over, basic and a bit tired, stains on sofa and carpet, only one double sofa which sank when you sat on it so the third person had to sit on a hard dining chair. Basic utensils, no wine glasses but did have a gravy boat 😁 comfortable beds, met by the pleasant host, all in all fine "

"The staff were very helpful, respectful but friendly. I was at a course near the hotel on Sunday so was slightly disappointed the restaurant was late opening on Sunday morning. I did however get to my work on time! I would definitely stay at Wildes hotel again. Thank you"

"It good. It great. I like this hotel. The breakfast was the happy type, with self service hot and cold available. The power shower was super and the checkout time was just the best option available right up to 12.00 as ALL hotels should be. The room, large size with the bonus of a lovely bed, pillows were terrible and no extras provided. You could make own teas and coffee in room, 15 milk provided and reoccurring sugar was no issue. Hotel next to a nightclub but little noise. Lots of areas to relax and enjoy the hotel mini break. The staff should be given bonus as very happy and informative especially Ebony who told us all about the Yorkshire Park that we were visiting. Check in easy and a breeze, I chose English as my preferred language as I was born in the UK. Water with fruit pieces available at breakfast, I enjoyed unlimited butter. Temu ornaments in reception give an inclusive and homely feel. Life very small but useful to get to know people on a more intimate level. Fast acceleration and access to floors without delay. Overall, happy and delighted experience of the hotel facilities, joy from the staff and happy the guest who has the short or long trip. Thank you to friends at Mercure Doncaster, the key cars was produced from wood grain material. Only negative was the pillows disintegrated beneath your head. Hash browns a bit dry but sausages were full of meat, especially the ones I had for breakfast. 13 out of 14 for this hotel. Happy to return. "
