"Difficult check in and out. Wanted pool towels and had to go back to check in and put deposit which is understandable but once again had to go to main desk and wait. They could have told us when we checked in. Also, had to call for them to lower temperature in room. They did but it was still hot."

"I would choose again to stay at this hotel. Easy access to beach. Walkable to stores, bakery and dining places. Hotel is in the center at very busy place but is very on the safe and quiet place too. Excellent and helpful hotel staff. "

"Excellent hotel in all ways Location offers, pebble beaches, moles of coastline walking paths.... Late September, peace and quiet with perfect weather apart from some epic night thunderstorms,which were interesting to watch "

"We stayed for 3 for our 25th wedding anniversary. It is in a good location at the end of the promenade, the hotel itself is clean and the staff helpful. The only small issues were, getting a lounger in the pool area is tricky, and the airconditioning unit in our room could not cope with the heatwave and could not get below 25 degrees, however the staff provided a large fan the following day, which helped cool things down to 22 degrees."

"The hotel is gorgeous on arrival and the communal spaces in the main building are fabulous. We were staying in the annexe building (the beach house) and unfortunately the entrance to that building is very disappointing- dirty, dusty and neglected. However, the rooms themselves were lovely. Pool areas are busy but there was always space available. Pools are a bit grubby. Hotel bars are lovely and the same price as local bars with great selection of cocktails. Right on the beach. "Couldn’t ask for a more perfect location. Staff are all wonderful and will do their best to provide excellent service. Food is always lovely. Relaxing areas to sit and drink wine or coffee both inside and outside.Rooms and suites are kept clean and to a high standard. Mini bar stocked with lots of choices of drinks, mixers, wine, beer, snacks - both sweet and savoury. Room service is excellent too. Balcony with our suite was fantastic; spacious with sun loungers, chairs and tables. Beautiful views of the sea and the pine trees. A stones throw from lovely cafes, bars, small shops, post office, supermarkets and harbour. Set in between Makarska and Brela which are both a lovely walk. Reception are happy to arrange tours and trips or taxi services to almost anywhere: highly recommended are Split, Bosnia, Vineyard Wine tasting. The indoor pool is contemporary in design and has two whirlpools next to it also as well as loungers and towels provided for guests. The spa treatments are excellent and highly recommended, the staff are fantastic, so friendly and deliver amazing treatments. The hair salon is also excellent and has lovely staff. We have gone several times to this hotel and are never disappointed. Can’t wait to visit next year. "
