"The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Rooms look more like a poor pilgrim municipal auberge. Please do not reserve this hotel. The first night they didn't have hot water. I reserved for three nights but I decided not to come back on the second one even loosing the money. Because I didn't was able to get other hotel I returned for the third night. Hot water was returned. Staff only work from 6 pm to 11 pm. If you arrive early must wait outside. There is no restaurant near by, we have to go to...

I left my e-reader in the room and couldn’t turn around to he get it and the fantastic staff researched how to get it back to Canada for me at the lowest possible cost! Wonderful customer service. "We absolutely loved the Temple Hotel, it had a Knights Templar theme, from being ‘greeted’ by a suit of armour in reception, to iron braziers for the lights, medieval style furniture and pictures, even the key to the bedroom was an iron ‘Tau’ - all in homage to the spectacular Knights Templar Castle in Ponferrada. In addition the rooms were comfortable, the welcome was warm, and breakfast was a veritable feast worthy of any knights!"
