"Perfectly situated in the centre of Fontainebleau and opposite the chateau. Napoleon underground car park right opposite but be aware that your vehicle must be under 1.85m so not possible for us. This should be made clear on the hotel details as it’s difficult to reverse onto main road. Foyer and bar are really stylish if a little cold with a drain type smell on the way to the lifts. "A lovely budget hotel in a Fontainebleau. Friendly welcome, clean, quiet room. Bathroom small by North American standards but not out of the ordinary in Europe. Close to everything, Fontainebleau Chateau is close, ( to enter the grounds) and the ticket booth about 15 minutes away. Place de la Republique is perhaps a 7 minute walk away, with a lovely market three times a week. Dining options are many, varied and close by, (il Primo Biaccio a great Italian place). "Comfortable and convenient hotel. It looks big but is really quite small. The grounds are in need of a gardener but the oak forest in front of the hotel shield it from a very busy road. There is a Buffalo Grill opposite but there is no pedestrian exit so a little difficult in my opinion. The hotel is very close to Vaux le Vicomte and Fontainebleau if like us you like visiting chateaux."
