"A fantastic find for our needs. The owner was exceptionally helpful. Central to the city. Great value for money. We had a great room. However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. Maybe stick with 2 separate items. 2- Not ideal for light sleepers. Can sadly hear a lot through the walls. 3- although the apartment was clean. I am not too sure the hoover was done. "Awful! After numerous attempts to find out how to get access to the property (phone calls/voicemail/messages/what's app) I had to check my family (Me, my Wife my 4 year old and 6 year old) into a hotel at 8pm. When I finally got a response to my messages my children were asleep in the hotel room. The person who contacted me still failed to provide any method of me accessing the property. I finally received information on how to access the property the following morning at 7am. The person who...

"Property is self catering house at edge of the town. Spacious and decent kitchen. Road quiet (liked that) and easy access to nature reserve/countryside walks. Parking a bit of an issue but didn’t detract from our stay. "

"The photo in the review is not the apartment we stopped in. The apartment we stopped in is definitely getting a little tired with a few repairs required however it has everything you want and nothing you don’t need. Would recommend for those transiting through Mansfield. The area (given I grew up there) is one of the better areas of Mansfield and the property is gated so nice and secure."

I struggled to sleep for two reasons, the rooms were so warm and when I opened the window to cool down, the road noise was terrible. "Decent stay, the room was spacious and clean, but the shower didn't have any warm water. The bath in the room gave very hot water, but not the shower!! We did report this to the reception person as we checked out, but FYI - room 424 did not have hot water in the shower!"

"I love this Ibis it's in the centre and has easy access to everything in and around Sheffield city centre. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is as always very good. Unfortunately the toilet door in my room was broken, didn't stop me using it just rather inconvenient to use as it didn't shut properly."
