"Gorgeous spot, we had an unusually sunny evening and had the place to ourselves - it was a Monday - 10 minutes drive to Ballymaloe cookery school and shop, don’t miss it! Jade was at reception and was very helpful and friendly. Room was lovely, you couldn’t top the view, between the harbour, lighthouse and ocean it was spectacular. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant, it was excellent. Will definitely stay again."

"We made our reservation last minute . The staff were so friendly and helpful they made us feel comfortable and it felt like home. It's a beautiful property it takes you back some years . Dinner was so delicious and once again an at home feeling. The easiest checkin and checkout we've ever experienced. Free parking & WiFi Its a family run business. Would recommend it to anyone 😊"

"We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. "The Belvedere is a lovely place to stay. Exceptional for the price and I’m not sure you’ll find anywhere as nice for what you pay. The room was spotless, spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The €10 breakfast was excellent. There are buses into the city centre from right outside the door. There is also a drive-in place to eat with Papa Johns, SuperMacs and Bewleys 50 yards down the road. Next to this is a petrol station where you can pick up necessities and this also has an off licence. I’d thoroughly recommend staying here. "

"The place was ancient, but with a very comfortable, old world vibe. The bedroom was very clean and nicely presented. I would go back there just to hang out in the 400 year old building with great pub, gym, restaurant and who knows what else."
