"This is a wonderful hotel and the staff are what make it. Very friendly and accommodating, food is lovely with plenty of choice. I don’t tend to eat meat when I am Away but they had plenty to choose from. Drinks are great and they have entertainment on every night until 11 which is great, a good couples hotel "

"Great place for a girls weekend to catch up with friends. Spacious accommodation with a fab balcony Just a few things to note. Accommodation units are all individual so you don’t know quite what you will get. Units can be difficult to find as it’s a very large complex. Signage and lighting trying to navigate in the dark is difficult especially as check in not until after 5pm. "It’s in a good location"

"We stayed in a two storey, two bed, two bathroom townhouse which was great. The only issue we had was a floppy shower head which made the bathroom very wet. Overall a very well appointed facility and you could easily stay for an extended period using the self-contained accommodation. The nearest supermarket is only 8 minutes away by car. The bistro was good value with nice food and service. Would definitely stay here again and will bring the golf clubs as the adjacent course looks great. "

"Absolutely fantastic self catering accommodation, our apartment overlooked the driving range, very quite with a really nice small pool near by. Well stocked and maintained apartment on a nice quiet site conveniently situated for surrounding golf courses. Not much very close and everything was an UBER ride away but would reccomend for anyone travelling to the Algarve for a golf trip, fun little par 3 course on site and loads of fantastic courses within 20/30 mins. "This was a very clean and friendly basic property. Our view was incredible. Parking was convenient. This is not a luxury property and it is wonderful at being exactly what it is. Safe. clean. Fun. Near the beach. The mattresses are challenging and this property is very popular with the party crowd. As a quiet couple we still felt right at home and truly appreciated the value and location. "The hotel was in a perfect spot for us, two middle age gents over for the weekend playing some golf. Close enough to the old town craziness for a drink and some food but not on your doorstep. "Everything was great with this hotel -the location & quietness especially, and the ambience in lobby area was great too. Only experienced a tiny hiccup in restaurant in one evening, as we turned up without booking and the lady staff made us feeling totally unwelcoming and kept us waiting for 3 minute or so without any greeting nor smiling/eye contact, luckily another male staff turned up and took us to table & settled, we ended up having a lovely evening again- appreciated! Hotel Califórnia Urban Beach – Adults only

"We stayed here for 4 nights and our stay was great. The staff on reception were so friendly and helpful and greeted us every time with a smile and hello as we were on the same floor. The staff at breakfast and at the bar were also friendly and welcoming. Our room was great with a balcony over looking the pool. The spa treatments were great and value for money was amazing. The only thing to comment on which wasn’t too big an issue was the ‘gym’. An outside area with machines which were weathered and not your usual expectation of a gym. There were lots of reviews commenting about the noise but yeah it was noisy when our balcony door was open but not enough to interrupt our sleep or put us off our stay. Great hotel for location and great facilities with great people that work there."
