"I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. Falstone is a great staging post for Kielder Forest, and there’s plenty of adventurous things to do near by, endless walks...

"Lovely comfortable cottage with a fabulous view from the lounge balcony with afternoon and evening sun. No personal touch or welcome gift. Front yard full of weeds and plants blocking light into two snug windows. Would have been nice to use that space for a seat outside in the morning sunshine as the kitchen is perfectly placed through the front door. Locals lovely. Lots of pubs and shops. Great places to explore in the area."

"Lovely quite country location, off-street parking & all the comforts of home. Near train station if public transport is required, however noise from trains was not an issue. 'The stables is ideal for a couple with small kitchen if wanting to cook."

"Excellent location for Northumberland super host very polite and always available for help we stayed for 3 nights was excellent "

"This was such a sweet place to stay with our family. 2 very comfortable bedrooms that easily slept all 5. The onsite laundry made our traveling that much easier. Location was a dream! In the country, on a working farm, surrounded by peace and nature!"

"Stunning drive in in late evening all very impressive, we ate at the hotel from the bar menu which was not offered initially until we asked for it. Our room was in the cottages, heating was off, november stay so would have expected a warm welcome. could get the TV to work despite good instructions. Staff offered to help when asked wgoch was great. Rooms were a little tired and functional which given the setting was a surprise, an opportunity missed. Bed, however, was very comfortable and...

"We loved our stay, the room was lovely and there was nice touches such as the chocolate and nice coffee. We enjoyed our breakfast in the morning. The only down side is the evening meal and drinks are on the pricey side, £13 for a double gin and lemonade (I am aware there is not much competition in otterburn). The meal was nice though and the staff were so lovely and accomodating :)."
