I wanted to give this property a better review, but our shower leaked terribly. It’s designed so that there is no threshold between the shower and the shower door. There is also construction going on next-door and is quite noisy. The walls are very thin, and we could hear a lot of noise from the people adjacent to us and above us. Finally, some kind of demolition was going on across the hallway from our room. It sounded as if Tile was being shipped away with a hammer and chisel. It made it impossible for us to rest in the afternoon. I called down to the front desk, but they told me there wasn’t any construction going on inside of the hotel. She was insistent there was no construction going on, and I asked her to come up and listen, but I don’t believe anyone ever did

This property exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed by the concierge. Check-in was quick. Leti and Eva were very professional. The concierge gave us many useful tips in the area. The property’s is conveniently locates just a few minutes walk from places we wanted to visit. In front of the Sagrada Familia, a truly exceptional place. From the Rooftop you can enjoy beautiful view’s of the city of Barcelona

The location of the hotel is incredible. It is in the middle of the gotic neighborhood, in front of Barcelona's Cathedral. Personnel was always nice and kind. The hotel was clean and modern. The views are incredible. The restaurant-bar at the top has a beautiful view of the Cathedral. We were taken to the Cruise port by one of their personnel. It was a colombian guy very helpful. Thank you.

The Hotel Colon was the perfect choice for us! After a long flight from Edmonton AB Canada, it was the perfect soft landing for us. Ideally situated in the midst of a bustling dining, shopping and historic properties location. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Staff most pleasant, but, check out is 11am. Guests unable to checkin until after 3pm. Why? Four houses should be sufficient time to clean rooms. Decor of rooms beautiful as was the hotel. My TV did not work for any English speaking channels. When I called down was told channels 1, 2, 3, 5, were English, click. Overhead shower head did not work. I have stayed here 3 times in the past. Might reconsider next time. And by the way, it was not cheap

This is our second time staying at Hotel Colon and it continues to amaze. It’s been upgraded since our last stay so it’s even better. The location can’t be beat and staff very friendly and helpful. It rained while we’re there and it’s such a great touch that they would even lend you an umbrella to use so you can stay dry. Definitely worth staying there every time we’re in Barcelona especially with the beautiful cathedral view. A in our book.
