I enjoyed my stay here. For what we paid for we got a very nice hotel, however it’s a little far from the centre so if the metro/overground isn’t working there’s not that many transport links which was quite difficult. We also didn’t have AC and when we opened the window it was quite loud (maybe a generator). Breakfast didn’t have many veggie options, just eggs, cheese and bread. It would’ve been great if we had more veggies, however the desserts and drinks section was great. The house keeping was amazing and the hotel was very clean and elegant. It would’ve been nice if we had amenities such as a kettle in the rooms but we did get an iron once we asked the front desk. Overall a nice experience.

Love my stay at Exe Barcelona Gate! Only gripe was that the nearest train station is a 10-12mins walk away. But it is a very nice and peaceful neighborhood. Service by the hotel was great! Had my items safely delivered to the hotel room too :) The staff at the breakfast area is also really cute lol! But the breakfast items did not really change so that might be an issue for those who wish to have a wide spread of food selection

We used this hotel as a quick stay before our early morning flight from BCN. While check-in was easy, we were a little disappointed when we found the sink in the bathroom dirty, the sheets quite hard and scratchy and there was no food available, as the vending machine was "broken" and the in-room minibar was limited and the fridge not cold. Satisfactory for a quick stay but I would not want to stay for a longer period.
