We had to have the room keys recharged every single day (multiple times). The lady at the front desk was perturbed when I stated I needed new cards, and I really needed key cards that worked more than once. She barked something at me. No elevator, and we were on the second floor. I was pretty peeved at that point. Will not stay here again due to staff at front desk.

The hotel staff were very helpful. The bacon was amazing. There was no elevator. So we had to carry our suit cases up the steps and the tub was small. It is an older hotel but clean.

There were roaches in the room. When I reported it to the front desk, he said he would report it. He wasn't very apologetic and didn't appear to be alarmed by my report. I cancelled my stay and went to a different hotel. The competing hotel was not surprised and stated they get many guests that have left this Best Western.

Room was dirty. Sheets looked dirty. Pillows felt damp. Bathroom was dirty. Was only there for 10 hours and saw 3 separate people barefoot in the lobby. We got there late with little kids or we would have packed up and left.

It was very clean and staff was good. The general manager was very accommodating. Then it was time to settle down for sleep, I kept hearing doors slam and the guest that was next to us girl banging on the door yelling let me in. It was hard to sleep.

The shower enclosure and tub were definitely NOT cleaned prior to my arrival - a mat of hair and soap scum literally blocked the drain, and hair was all over the enclosure. Makes me wonder if anything in the room was clean. The ceiling above the sink was obviously "in repair" and not even close to being done. The freezer compartment of the fridge was so iced over my ice packs would not come out in the morning. I use insulin and the ice packs are vital to keeping it cool. I was told I would have to wait 1.5 hours for maintenance to come in, so instead I unplugged the unit and kept working on them to pull them out. Stuffed all the towels in the open fridge to try to catch any water. The box springs were clearly visible, taking away from the "clean" look of the room. Not a happy camper at all. Best Western's were always the choice of my family when I was growing up...never again.
