Positives: Most of the employees were nice and courteous, they provided gallons of drinking water whenever asked, and the cost was agreeable—considering the rooms are large.
Cons: The cleaning standards left MUCH to be desired. For my entire stay, I never saw the housekeepers use a single cleaning product—and after they finished cleaning my bathroom, it would always reek of urine. As a result, you could find dirt and grime in the crevices of the bathroom tiles... and everywhere else. I also walked into my bathroom on a couple of occasions to find a colony of ants swarming my sink—and I have attached a picture showing one of the minor invasions. The location also isn’t the best, as it’s pretty far away from the center of Bangkok—so get use to using Grab or taxis if you’re a tourist. And I also had an off-putting, bizarre experience with a female receptionist where I walked in from a long day of being a tourist, and she decided to ask me about my weight for some undisclosed reason???
