"This is a lovely boutique hotel adorned with antique toy memorabilia. The restaurant offers a fantastic setting on the canal that’s full of wildlife. The property itself is surrounded by coconut farms. It’s a short drive to several floating markets, the train market and temples. The pool is quiet and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. "Stay was ok. Typical website BS about only one room left but the place was a ghost town the night I stayed. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was just OK."

"The owners make us felt at home. The old couple who managed this are so friendly and I love their Thai style fish congee for breakfast. Their son is also very kind. He came during breakfast to check on our well being if we slept well for the night. He even drove us to the bus stop where we headed for Mae klong train station. We absolutely love this cozy & homey place : )"

Although we didn’t catch her name we would like to thank her kindly for her assistance throughout our stay. :) we will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Arigato "

"Baan Chompoo Homestay is very clean and only 5 minutes walk to Amphawa Floating market. Breakfast was reasonable though not the best shower we had, but we were happy with out stay. You can catch songtheaw (public open ute) from across the road to go to Maeklong train market for 8baht per person so very cheap. No taxi available, however private car to Bangkok about 1200baht - The owner was nice to call and organise one when we requested."

"Everything was great, clean and the food was great too except that you have to pay 1000 THB in cash only as for security deposit, we know that it will be refunded after the checkout but still too much and we only got 1 key card. On the other hand, you can leave your id card instead of cash but still bad idea since we use id on a daily basis. "

"Staff were fabulous. Place is older but kept well. There is a mismatch between the description of the room and the reality. Don't expect a balcony or safe and you might need to ask to get a room with a fridge. But overall we had an easy and comfortable stay."

The lady at reception organised us a whole morning of activities with a personal tuk tuk and when we returned our taxi to Bangkok was already waiting.
