"I have been traveling to Mahahual for solo fishing adventures every year for at least the last 8 years, and I have always stayed at the Cabanas Del Doctor, and I always will! I don't need anything fancy, but for the very reasonable price of a room or cabana here you won't find anything even close to as good. Also, the woman who runs the hotel/cabanas is wonderful, I look forward to seeing her every year. Hope to be back again soon, thank you for everything once again!"

"This is paradise!! I have traveled quite a bit.. this is o e of my favorite places!! The staff were so nice and accommodating. The food was delicious. The place we stayed was wonderful. Very very clean. Ver comfortable. So much privacy and tranquility. If you are looking for a place for peace and finding yourself and or romance this is it! The beach was outstanding. The town was amazing. Delicious food and unique handmade items. We got to see a tribal dance that was out of this world....

"This is a HOSTEL, not a HOTEL. So, PRO: Súper friendly staff, big kitchen you can use, right in front of the beach, in the middle of nowhere. No people around. Perfect for a getaway with no cellphones. CONS: Not the cleanest place, they don’t clean the rooms during your stay, staff only works during mornings so if you need something during the day it’s kinda difficult.
