"I really enjoyed my stay at the Teak Hotel. It’s right on the Mekong River which is amazing. It’s a well kept place, clean, very nice staff, breakfast was good (not great) and I ate lunch there (was good) a lot. The room is clean. Beds are a little hard but not too bad. It’s quiet and has a walk way along the river which is good. Good place to stay"

"The remoteness and gorgeous scenery made this a special stay. The 165 steep steps up the hill were totally worth it!! This is the rainy season and you’re really in nature so it shouldn’t be a surprise but there were lots of dead and living ants so if you’re squeamish about ants, just be warned. We loved our stay, though!"

"The views are sensational, but only 1 plug socket on one side of bed, no bedside tables or lights, the set of stairs to get to the 1st floor rooms were like climbing mount Everest. However the staff were more then helpful. The rooms were cleaned ok, the railings on the balcony were filthy. My girlfriend had to clean. Only 1 chair on balcony. But nice and quiet away from the noise of traffic in town"
