"I think this place could be very good but it needs some work. Just a few things would make it excellent. My door had to be lifted up to be locked. There were no contact details or Wi-Fi passwords anywhere. I couldn’t get the shower above cold and the bed was REALLY hard. Maybe a few more pics on the wall and some home comforts too. I tried to get the Wi-Fi code my message via Facebook. Both codes they gave me didn’t work. I got Hotels.com to ask but the contact they had didn’t work....

"It is an amazing stay for our family. The house is fabulous and super luxurious. Tasteful decoration and furniture. Spotless clean. Very nice spacious house with great garden, pool and terrace. We enjoyed our stay! "

"Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Es liegt mit einigen weiteren Häusern in einem Wald aus Kokospalmen und Bananenpflanzen. Zu Fuß erreicht man in ca. 10 Minuten den Ort Thong Krut mit Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeit und in der anderen Richtung nach 700 m die Pagode „Wat Phra Chedi Laem So“ mit Strand und nach weiteren 800 m ein Restaurant bzw. "We loved our stay! The resort is beautiful and the staff is so kind and helpful. The amenities (gym, spa, multiple pools) were lovely, and the food was quite good with ample variety. We loved the peacefulness of the resort and surrounding area. The resort offers daily shuttles to other locations on the island, which is helpful given the remote location makes it somewhat difficult to get to other areas of the island. Something to consider if you want to be close to lots of busy action! Additionally, I agree with other reviewers that the "beach" is really just a local boat dock with frequent boat activity and occasional smells of gasoline. We still enjoyed our time relaxing, but this could be important if you're someone who wants to lay in the sand and swim in the ocean!"

"Very delighted with my stay at Permsuk. Thank you to the lovely staff that are always smiling and happy to try to help with any enquiries or requests. Very affordable considering the quality of the rooms which I would call at least 3 star plus. Very clean, 247 aircon so you can come back to comfort after a day out. Super quick and reliable wifi. Affiliated bar with small food menu but excellent coffee, drink and cocktail menu. That can serve you to your room. Many great seafood restaurants within 3 mins walk, all beach facing, and not expensive. Rooms are within 30m walk to the sand and 40m to the ocean. Make sure to hire a bike or car as taxis are hard to come by in this kind of remote spot. Can organise hire from reception at 250baht/day. Tasty breakfast in bed every morning is a bonus, they have different options to choose. 0 complaints, only kudos! Thank you very much for having me, will be back to Khanom and to this very hotel. "

"Janpa Resort was the ideal choice for our one-night stay in Don Sak before catching an early morning ferry. The room was comfortable and offered a truly unique experience – it opened directly onto the beach! We were treated to a breathtaking sunset and a magical sunrise, making this short stay truly phenomenal. The location and the ambiance of the resort were perfect for a relaxing and memorable overnight stay. I would definitely recommend Janpa Resort to anyone traveling through Don Sak."
