"This hotel had bedbugs. We had a reservation in the 3br suite and around 11pm discovered there were bedbugs infested in all 3 rooms. I struggled with posting this review because all of the the staff are so nice but I see the room is available for reservation again and it was a total nightmare to discover this and deal with sanitizing our things and finding a new place to stay in the middle of the night. "

"We had 5 nights at Alanta Villa, and by day two we knew we hadn’t booked long enough. The villas are peaceful, well appointed, comfortable, and very private. We found the staff are incredibly helpful and very friendly… genuinely lovely people There’s a lot of wildlife knocking about in the gardens, so if you don’t want to share the place with frogs, lizards, preying mantis and monkeys, then it might not be for you, but I love all that and it really made my stay much better. "Myself and 2 friends recently stayed here for 10 nights and found it to be an excellent apartment just a short walk down a hill to the main road and beach. The staff were brilliant and very helpful. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk and the Beach Side Restaurant on the main road was particularly good with great staff and superb food."

"Overall a great stay. The place was updated and well kept. The staff are friendly and very helpful and respond to any issues immediately. We had an issue with the air conditioner and shower and they fixed the issues right away and were very apologetic. "This resort was a dream! The staff were so sweet and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The beach and pool were beautiful and great for swimming. The food in the restaurant was very good. This place was a relaxing escape from the touristy areas of Thailand. We did not have a vehicle but the hotel sent a car to pick us up and help set up a ride to the airport. If you were going to stay for more than 2-3 days, you may need to get a vehicle or scooter. We did not have kids with us but the resort appeared very kid friendly with a playground and kid friendly menus at the restaurant. We got amazing massages as well. I would totally stay here again, a nice relaxing part of our trip!"

Perfect stay at quiet end of Long Beach

"Perfect stay. Great and comfy sea breeze villa, 2 min walk to a massive beach that was quiet and peaceful and great for sunsets. Staff were all fab. Food and drinks at restaurant were good. 7/11 at the entrance for any other bits you need eg water/beers for the room etc. 5-10 min walk to loads of restaurants/bars etc. Would definitely stay there again. "
