"This resort was a dream! The staff were so sweet and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The beach and pool were beautiful and great for swimming. The food in the restaurant was very good. This place was a relaxing escape from the touristy areas of Thailand. We did not have a vehicle but the hotel sent a car to pick us up and help set up a ride to the airport. If you were going to stay for more than 2-3 days, you may need to get a vehicle or scooter. "This hotel had bedbugs. We had a reservation in the 3br suite and around 11pm discovered there were bedbugs infested in all 3 rooms. I struggled with posting this review because all of the the staff are so nice but I see the room is available for reservation again and it was a total nightmare to discover this and deal with sanitizing our things and finding a new place to stay in the middle of the night. "Worst hotel experience we've honestly ever had. Our air con broke one night into our stay so the room was a sweat box. We had a total of 6 people come in to our room to confirm it was broken, they said they could offer another room to so we packed up our stuff ready to move then they retracted the offer saying they had no room availability. It was only when I asked for a refund for the rest of our stay that they then miraculously found a spare room for us to spend 1 night in and called out...

"Fantastic property within walking distance of lovely bars and restaurants. Rooms amazing, lovely little touches eg beach bags, espresso machine, robes, we had one with with sea view which was by the pool and so convenient. food delicious and staff so lovely and friendly. Not got a bad word for the place, only thing that would have improved it for us was a better/another toaster at breakfast and smoking ban round pool! "

"We had 5 nights at Alanta Villa, and by day two we knew we hadn’t booked long enough. The villas are peaceful, well appointed, comfortable, and very private. "Incredible. Exceeded my expectations. Absolutely coming back here is I’m back in Lanta. Loved the area and hotel. Super quiet and comfy, plus very unique and situated in the jungle which I loved!!! My room was near the reception which was handy since some rooms are quite far. Breakfast was overpriced h recommend going elsewhere but nothing opens until 9am usually. Some awesome restaurants nearby! "
