"We stayed for 3 nights in December, the breakfast was good and never busy, staff checking us in wet friendly and polite and spoke multiple languages. The areas itself is ok, it's near a tram stop into the centre of Basel and within close enough proximity to local amenities such as the Co-op to stock up on some essentials for cooking. "I like these apartments, they are an easy walk from the station. They are simple but smartly done. The sound proofing on the windows is excellent and if you are in a room at the front of the building you need it. The TV reception is a bit sketchy for the foreign channels but the WiFi is good enough to watch things on your own devices. "

"I had a problem with self check-in process because I was a half hour arriving due to my missed train connection from zurich to grenchen and I did not have correction reservation number. So I pressed the speaker button and someone responded and due to the language barrier i eventually resolved the problem"

"The property and rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast is not available but a ahort ride into town iffers several options for eating. Keep in mind that there is not an elevator and it seems that the rooms are on higher levels. Overall I would recommend staying here as it is secure and a lovely place."

"Great place to stay in Basel. Close to public transportation. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed had all basic amenities for a family of 4. A full size kitchen , washer dryer was awesome. The AC was not that good but a fan in the room helped. It would have been great to have a fan in each room. We kept the windows slightly open to let some fresh cool air in at night. "A great option for a family stay in Basel. We were travelling from the UK. Could sleep up to 6 comfortably but only one bedroom - with two double beds. Living room had 3 sofa beds - instructions provided to allow them to be flattened. Apartment was clean. "Quiet, comfortable apartment conveniently located. Access to all the sites in Basel are easily accessable, either on foot or using the trams stops just steps away. The apartment was spacious and included all the necessary amenities. We particularly appreciated the in-suite laundry after being on the road for some time. Check-in was easy and the staff were very nice and extremely helpful. As eating out in Basel can quickly add up in cost, the kitchen and nearby grocery store were convenient....

"Average accommodation. Specifically booked as it said parking available. True but 300 yards away in a multi story! Also was a nightmare to find by car. Inaccessible in actual fact. Air con didn't work either. No duvet for sofa bed. Got glass in foot in the kitchenette. And thought Basel very expensive and average. All in all, a rather forgetable experience. "

"The property was very much work in progress the owner had just finished with unit we stayed in but some of the rooms were low ceilings upper floor made us bump ou heads. The driveway was full of work equipment which meant that our car had to parked in the road. No laundry facilities which was a no no."

"Enjoyed the excellent service at the Pullman! Great location - shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Tram pickup right outside the door. Food and drink in the lobby restaurant were fantastic - loved the venison ghoulash. Clean comfy rooms. Had trouble with the heat/air but we opened a window. Overall highly recommend."

"My wife and I stayed at this hotel early December as part of a break to visit the Christmas Markets - exemplary customer service at all times, thoughtful and supportive staff, lovely/well equipped room, very clean and comfortable. Lovely location with only a short walk to the centre (trams and buses stop outside the hotel if you do not wish to walk the short distance). After many years of business travel and many stays around the world, the service at this hotel was nothing less than exceptional. Our thanks to the dedicated staff and their exemplary customer focus and making our stay an absolute pleasure."
