"Nice rooms but pools were missing tiles. I had higher expectations of the restaurant for a five star hotel. Some of the local staff members were rude - especially this middle aged male server who almost yelled at me for wanting a drink. He messed up the drink anyway - ordered a Cabernet and he brought me white wine. The bellboy was very kind and helpful but the lady at the reception who checked us in was merely mean. Long wait times for everything. Tiny indoor pool."

"I recently booked a stay at this hotel through Expedia, and I must say it was a disappointing experience. Upon arriving at the hotel the room was not ready and was dirty (even though it was already 3pm). When we asked for towels the "clean" ones that were provided had a ball of hair inside and stains. "The hotel is five star for Bulgaria. Responsive, pleasant, and attentive staff, food was plentiful and varied, however there is little change from day to day. As typical in the region beef is not the best and other choices were overcooked. Still, there was enough choice to find a satisfying meal. Their indoor and outdoor mineral pools are very nice. The private beach is excellent and well appointed with umbrellas, lounges, and a nice bar. Rooms are spacious,modern, and clean. Spa services...

Varna Stay

"We visited family in Varna and used the hotel for a 5 night stay in December. We booked an executive double room with a sea view. Check in was easy and reception staff were helpful & friendly. The hotel is situated a short walk to the centre. Our room was on the tenth floor 1003 and had a panoramic sea view. The room was large with a walk-in wardrobe, large bathroom with bath and separate shower, and spacious bedroom with large TV (no English channels worth watching). The king size bed was comfortable, bedding was changed regularly and plenty of clean towels were provided daily. Rituals toiletries are provided including shampoo & conditioner, and there is a decent enough wall mounted hairdryer in the bathroom. There is a tea making equipment, free safe and mini bar and you get a complimentary bottle of water every day. The hotel is quiet and we didn't hear any noise at night. Breakfast was served in reception as the restaurant was undergoing renovation and this may have affected the options available as food choices were limited. The hotel was spotlessly clean and staff were all friendly and helpful."
