"Unfortunately, we never received the check-in information regarding the cabin. We’re staying in ahead of time, but we figured it out on our own when I try to contact the owner. Their information wasn’t on the Expedia website cabinet was clean but needs some updating, but this area is very beautiful. Some of the cabins look like they’ve been updated so I’m hoping they get to the one that we stayed in as well. "This property was excellent value and perfect for our stay, centrally located in Akureyri. The property has a well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom and very comfortable beds. Communication with the host was excellent. Our only improvement would be curtains in the bedroom as the blinds don't keep out the outside light. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily return. "

"This was such a comfortable place to stay for two nights. It was close enough to town that we could get the grocery, and restaurants. We liked that it had a kitchen, two bedrooms, and a wash and dryer. It was clean and tastefully decorated. We would definitely recommend this property to other families. "

"This cottage was clean and modern, had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Also had lovely views as it was up on a hill. Nice big windows, comfortable beds, washer/dryer. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking lodging in Northern Iceland!"

"The stay was lovely despite the cold outside (-14). Had one issue and someone came quickly to help, thank you. Would be very grateful if the property could email entry details proactively on the morning of arrival instead of needing to chase each time without international calls. "This was a cute little hotel. More like a guest house over a restaurant. The room was lovely and the bathroom decent and clean. There is a shared kitchenette and small lounge area on each floor for guests. The guesthouse is above a cute restaurant with delicious food, and in the main area of Akureyri, so it was very walkable to other restaurants and shops. Parking was easy across the street from the hotel as well and staff were friendly and efficient. "
