A property in need of some TLC

I was in Baker for one night. Not a lot of options, and I really just needed a quiet place to sleep, which it was. And the heater, TV, fridge and microwave all worked. But the room was beat up. The bathroom door didn't close. It was a relatively new, 6-panel pine door that was about 1/16 too wide. 10 minutes with a planer or belt sander and I could have fixed it for them. There was water and mold on the bathroom ceiling. The base moulding was coming off the wall. The weather stripping around the door was torn. You get the picture.

This little Inn was so nice. Cheryl was very pleasant to talk with and very informative about things to do in the area. I loved her little pupper, Willow, and the turtle who always greeted us in the lobby. I would definitely stay here again.

This motel is remodeling but we got a room in the back. If we wouldn't have been exhausted we would have left. Carpet was dirty, only had one bed instead of two. We had stayed there before and at least the room was clean.

Business trip

Was there for business, so just needed a bed for the night. Clean, comfortable rooms with private bathroom. Could use a table of some kind and a chair. Had to sit on bed to do work.
