"On arrival thw managed didn't expect us, there wasn't a room ready and they were moving a wardrobe etc into our allocated room. I had to ask for towels, a kettle, a sheet to put over us on the bed. Electric sockets were dangerous, the balcony was filthy and the chairs disgusting. Day 2 of being there, no power and I gave the manager money to top up the electric. After one week there was no water. This place is disgusting and needs closing down "

"As mentioned, I double booked a second rez for a friend to test what was being offered on Expedia - meaning that my 2nd rez I effectively had 2 rooms reserved for the same day; however 3 rooms still shoed being available with private shower. The staff assured me that this time I would get the room with private bath. Internet ok but just outside the restaurant , no credit cards so you pay with cash ( they change money and atm just outside hotel ) restaurants/ bar/ shops /taxi just minute outside. Rooms cleaned everyday , breakfast ok , restaurant inside really nice food I would back again . Thanks "

"I truly enjoyed my stay at the Pelican. It is kind of hidden and quiet. The rooms are not fitted with a fridge or kettle but there was one right outside our room and a full kitchen w/fridge for community use. Kitchen area was always clean. The WiFi was surprisingly fast. The hand held shower head was a bit of a hassle and we had a bit of a "moment" with the cleaner using our adapter to charge his mobile phone...inside our room. We laughed it off and I made sure the adapters were well tucked away...
