"Nice new hotel but probably not the nicest town in the Algarve but perfectly fine for just a night or two."

"Absolutely beautiful property. Amazing views of the city!I was amazed how it was so perfectly annexed in the old city of faro, yet the property was so modern and relaxing. The spa room was amazing, and the drinks from the bar were as well. I will definitely stay here again if visiting Portugal, it's a nice way to step foot into what the South of Portugal has to offer. The staff are extremely nice and easy to engage in genuine conversation."

"Overall we loved the hotel and Olhão. The lobby was beautiful, staff and check in efficient and easy, room spacious and clean, loved the breakfast especially the granola and great location with a nice walk to the local restaurants. A few small things that would give it more of a 5star feel rather than 4star; water wasn’t replaced in the rooms, no dressing gowns provided, the towel situation by the pool isn’t great-you have to go to the spa with a card to get one thread-bare towel and warned to bring it back or you will be charged €15…with the 5star rating and price paid we felt this was unnecessary. All said we had a wonderful four days and would definitely come back."

"The staff was wonderful, as was the restaurant food and the facilities. Of all the locations at which my wife and I stayed during three weeks in Europe, the Dom Jose was the cleanest and most comfortable. Rui, who worked the front desk, was great, as were all of the staff. The only complaint was that there was no on-site parking, which meant paid parking near the beach or parking a distance from the hotel. Otherwise, we'd visit again."

"The hotel is conveniently set by the harbour and within easy walking distance to the old town, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is super clean, friendly staff and offering a lovely rooftop bar for the perfect sunset views. Good breakfast buffet accompanied by a piano player, rooms cleaned daily, we will definitely by returning. "

"Everything was great from the time we checked in to our departure! The staff assisted us with a tour to the caves, later canceled and they found us another. Nicole & Joāo were the best very helpful & courteous "

"Great location, bang in the middle of QDL. We stayed in a newly refurbed two bed villa. Great facilities on site, Noa cafe for breakfast, Il Vero italian for dinner, supermarket on site. Walking distance to Koko, bit of a longer walk (40 mins) to Quinta Shopping, Cheeky Pup, Thai Bistro, the beach. Lovely welcome from professipnal staff. We'll be back."
