"Hotel is great and house keeping very good. The food and beverage is quite poor for the build of the hotel. The menu is tiny and not great. The drinks are quite poor. Also the staff are not attentive. Theres entire cafes with just no one in attendance at all. It is quite bizarre and they are clearly losing a decent share of money from this. If you went up to me when I was at the pool and asked if I wanted anything I would have, even from the limited menu. The cafe downstairs has never got any...

"The hotel is a bit old. The location is a bit off the center of George Town but still walkable if you don't mind. The swimming pool is on the small side. The rooftop restaurant is great. You can see the whole Geroge Town almost. There is a big night food court right next to the hotel where you can get all kinds of food for dinner. "

Arrived at the hotel on 31 JAN receptionist said cannot find my booking because was booked last minute?? Wasted 20-25 mins and another receptionist-Mariyam or Mariah sorted out a room for me."

On the hotels.com description it says close to shopping Center which I think is referring to Time square however that mall is closed. There are other shopping areas just a little farther away.
