"Unique and different from other hotels, it’s very old and need serious remodeling. Very small bathroom (reminds me of place in London) located right next to entrance of Sarak national park. Food is overpriced and nasty, no room service (order food u have to go pay and pick up yourself?) I won’t recommend, there are plenty of other hotels nearby and cheaper."
"Access code were sent via email on the day or arrival. So if you have no data connection you won’t be able to get to apartment. The place is fairly clean but bathroom is tiny. I was wondering if the bathroom door can close. The aircon smells like a wet dog and blast directly at the bed. Can’t get a good night slee. We were to stayed 3 nights but left after one. "
"The property was well maintained and the staff were knowledgeable. The hotel was extremely accessible. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are going to Sokcho."
"The room was great once I got there. This hotel is displayed as Sunrise Hotel Jumgmun on NAVER or Google as Sota only handles some of the rooms. It’s a completely virtual check-in process with no advance communication. Luckily the concierge at Sunrise Hotel was there and was able to call them for me and talk in Korean to get me checked in. I did show up about 30 minutes ahead of checkin time at 2:30pm which may have contributed to my issues, but I spent about an hour wandering the city trying to...
"Mt Seorak the East Sea and Hot spring was a quaint hotel with lovely hospitable hosts. It was conveniently located only 10 min by bus from Seoraksan National Park. The usual amenities were provided and there was a nice hot spring water shower which was great after a day of trekking. The bed was firm with lovely soft pillows and quilt. It was value for money. I would stay there again."
"We stayed three nights in this hotel and a very comfortable room overlooking Sokcho lake, absolutely wonderful.
Check-in and check-out are both self-service and there is an assumption that you have Whatsapp on your phone as the check-in details are sent via this app, which we didn't have. Nevertheless, a staff member was available to assist us with our check-in.
There's enough coffee shops and restaurants in the area and you are going to visit Seoraksan National Park, a local bus will get you...

"We had an amazing stay at Le Collective Sokcho Central. Space was clean, great communication and easy self check-in. Located within walking distance to the lakeside. Cafes nearby and close to bus stops. Would definitely stay again!"
"The hotel seems new or, at the very least, newly remodeled. There is an outdoor pool which is free to use and very kid friendly. A sauna is in the basement, for a small fee, it is small but clean. They allow you to hang out on the rooftop, which is fantastic; it makes for wonderful nighttime views of the skyline. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Sokcho."
"Clean comfortable room with an amazing view. We initially had a question regarding the thermostat and they responded immediately and then needed to call for a maintenance person who showed up within a few minutes and fixed the issue. Great value!"
