Man hat während dem ganzen Aufenthalt einen fix zugeteilten Sitzplatz im Restaurant, auch für das Frühstück. Offenbar gefällt das den Gästen, mein Ding war es aber nicht. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis des Hotels ist insgesamt aber gut.

Solidní hotel k rásných lázních

Tento hotel je jen kousek, asi 200 m od termálních lázní. Tak jak v lázních má být, je tu klid a čisto. Potkáte zde hlavně německé důchodce. Samotný hotel je již starší, na kratší pobyt rozhodně vyhovuje. Snídaně je bohatá, přikoupili jsme i večeři, kdy byly zrovna (v pondělí) bavorské hody, tedy hlavně vepřové. Restaurace je spojena s hotelem podzemní chodbou. Hotel má i saunu, ale tu jsme nevyužili. Termální lázně jsou rozsáhlé a v termínu naší návštěvy rozhodně nebyly přelidněné ve srovnání s Bad Fussing. Ideální pro ty, co tráví třeba týden na Železnorudsku a zrovna nepřeje počasí. Od hranice je to asi 170 km.

Sehr höflich, zuvorkommend, informativ und freundlich. Einwandfreie und ausführliche Betreuung. Das Restaurant ist sehr behaglich und hat eine prima Küche. " Seniorenportionen " wären wünschenswert.

Hotel empfehlenswert, Gegebenheiten beachten

Für Geschäftsreisende ist es wichtig zu beachten, dass die Rezeption nur bis ungef. 18:00 besetzt ist. Das Personal ist aber bei Anruf oder bei angesprochenen Problemen sehr hilfreich und regelt z.B. auch in unserem Fall alles zur Zufriedenheit und unbürokratisch. Also das Hotel ist wirklich zu empfehlen, aber die Gegebenheiten beachten.

Ein bayrisches Hotel im Rottal einfach super

Ich habe mich in diesem Hotel sofort wohlgefühlt, und habe alles vorgefunden was man als Kurzurlauber braucht. Auf meine Wünsche, speziell für Wellnessanwendungen wurde sofort reagiert und bei meiner Ankunft war schon alles gebucht.TOLL!

Pastoral Paradise

Initially, we were a little concerned because there was only one review in English. My husband and I don't speak German and our daughter's German is passable; however, language was not an obstacle. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On arrival, we were escorted to our lovely room and asked if it met with our approval; this was once a habit at hotels but in 2014 this courtesy is something unique. Our room was excellent in every way. It was perfectly CLEAN, quiet and comfortable. We did not use the spa or health services but there are many to chose from. We stayed for the weekend and drove to Passau both days. It was worth the drive. We enjoyed the country roads and the "commute" was pleasant. There is a lot to see along the way. The restaurant is pretty and our waitress "Rita" is a jewel. We ate breakfast there both days and had fish for dinner; the food was tasty and reasonably priced. Remember that this is a resort area so the hotel could charge much higher prices and no one would complain. Please consider this hotel for traveling to other points in Bavaria or if you just want a relaxing spa vacation - they have it all. There is additional parking across the street so it really isn't a problem. The hotel is pet friendly. Our cat loved it there. The rooms have balconies and we were fortunate enough to have a room facing the woods instead of the front of the hotel; thus we had privacy and could lounge comfortably on the patio in our pajamas.

Haben zum 2. mal da gewohnt. Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel, leckeres Frühstücksbuffet, kommen bestimmt wieder!

Kundenservice verstehe ich anders

Der Sternsteinhof; die Anreise: Es wurde im Vorfeld nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass man bei Anreise nach 17 Uhr im Gasthaus die Schlüssel holen muss. D.h. man muss erst zum Eingang über ca. 20 Stufen und dann erfährt man, dass man den Weg wieder zurück muss, um den Schlüssel zu holen; wir wurden nicht zum Eingang gebracht. Orginal Ton: "Sie werden es schon finden, sonst müssen Sie halt nochmal her laufen." Für diese Preiskategorie (Juli 2011) sind wir das anders gewöhnt. Das Frühstück: es gibt bis 10 Uhr Frühstück, allerdings waren die Platten um 9:30 Uhr schon leer. Original Ton: "Sagen Sie halt Bescheid, wenn was fehlt." Außerdem wurden wir zu zweit an einen nicht abgeräumten 8er Tisch gesetzt. Nicht gerade ansprechend. Wenn die Zielgruppe sich aus den Gästen erschließt, dann sind das eher alte Kurgäste, auf Mitte 30-Jährige wird kein Wert gelegt. Zimmer: sauber, ordentlich, mit nettem Balkon.

Freundliches Hotel

Überaus freundlich begenet man einem am Empfang und die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Personals beeindruckt einen während des gesamten Aufenthalts. Das Hotel liegt gerade mal 100 m von der Rottal-Therme, ist aber trotzdem für Gehbehinderte ein Wagnis. Ohne Lift, in Hanglage sowie bei einem weiten Weg zum Restaurant/Frühstücksraum sollte man hier einigermaßen zu Fuß sein. Apropos Frühstück: Während es am Wochenende gut bestückt ist, muss man an den Werktagen einiges (Rühreier etc.) bestellen. Die (wie immer) freuundliche Bedienung bringt es gerne.

Hotel Sternsteinhof liegt ruhig. Zentrum und Therme sind zu Fuss schnell erreichbar.

Das Hotel können wir sehr empfehlen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ruhig. Das Personal war freundlich und entgegenkommend. Die Rottal-Therme ist bequem in ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Ebenso das Zentrum ist zu Fuss oder per Rad (kann im Hotel ausgeliehen werden) leicht erreichbar. Die verschiedenen Walkingstrecken sind gut ausgewiesen und umfassen die verschiedensten Schwierigkeitsstufen. Es ist zu empfehlen die Wellness-Anwendungen im voraus zu buchen - hat bei uns sehr gut über den Hotel-Kontakt funktioniert. In der Umgebung ist der Wildtierpark Ortenburg und der Vogelpark in Igenöd sehenswert (auch für Kinder sehr interessant).
