"Had a fantastic stay here at this property, The location with the fantastic view is ofcourse the highlight going down to the beach is only 5mins , coming back with motorbike (habal-habal) took 2mins with 25peso. Very Responsive in terms of communication.The family really took care of us also offered us a free pick up in sabang market at arrival. My room was beautiful and quiet room indeed."

"The house is very isolated. Not feasible to walk back and forth to Sabang, where the closet market is located. The house had not been cleaned in weeks, which meant the beds were very dusty. Recommend bringing your own linens. There was no drinking water or wifi, and breakfast was not included as advertised. Power goes out often (not Bahay Isla's fault), so good luck sleeping when the weather is hot. "

"Accommodation is about 30 minute walk up a mountain side from Puerto Galera. There are no local shops or other facilities nearby. Upon arrival, we were led through an overgrown forecourt to our room. It has no hot water and the water pressure is so week, it is difficult to take a shower. The staff told us that we could extend our stay if we wanted, as there was no booking following ours. They also said, we didn't need to pre-order breakfast from the menu the night before.
