The town is extremely quiet, so we arrived with a personal note on the note addressed to us, front door unlocked, and key in the door of our room. It was an early century 3 story house so clean and comfortable, we felt very cozy and safe. The proprietor has everything ready for you and has a phone number to call if any questions or issues. "My wife and I were on an extended roadtrip and needed a place for an overnight so we could drive the Scenic Highland Highway to New River Gorge NP the next day and Elkins was the perfect spot . This Hotel too was perfect and we intend to return to Elkins for a longer visit and will definitely stay here! "
