"Staff and hotel itself was great. To be called Royal, it may need some manicured landscaping. Completely surrounded by weeds right now. That’s what you see in elevator and from room windows. "

"The only downside is that the hotel is far enough from markets, restaurants and stores (although it's a 1 minute walk from a Subway and McDonald's, but I'm boycotting these) and from the closest tram station, which is 15 minute walk away (Spich station).
The phone in the room didn't work unfortunately - I couldn't even call the reception."

"What a quirky hotel, first time staying in aMoxy. as I entered the hotel soothing music was playing, an image was projected on the floor 'Welcome to the Moxy,, Check In on the 5th Floor'. Greeted with a smile, check-in was effortless. I was also given a token to get a welcome drink from the bar (I had al ocal beer - Kolsch). The hallways on the 3rd floor were marked with yellow lines (planes follow at the airport), there was a taxiway, runway and a hangar. In the room it was also very quirky with aviation themed fittings. I went to the bat got my drink and went out onto the ipen air terrace on the 5th floor where you can see the ariport action take offs and landings etc. The proximity to Cologne Airport and Station was a 3 minute walk. Overall an excellent hotel."

"We had a nice stay here, clean and quiet with comfortable bedding. You have to walk a couple blocks to all the restaurants and shopping but not too bad. "
"The staff were so helpful and kind! Breakfast service and food was lovely. The facilities were great. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to stay again soon. "
