"Beautiful hotel with history. I love the style and the amenities. Each room has a record player, with a record library down the hall. There’s even a faucet for water and sparkling water. The wallpaper matched the chair design. Loved everything about this place. Will definitely stay there again. Friendly staff, welcoming, unique building. "

"I liked everything about my room. Everything was clean. The only downside is my room was located next to an exit and the door was very loud when opened and closed. Also, the light outside the exit door lit up my room when all the lights were off. Some might like that but I like a dark room. Noise was fairly minimal. Overall, was a good stay."

"Wonderful hotel! We stayed for 11 nights over Christmas / New Year and couldn't fault it. Our room was very spacious and clean and the hotel restaurant / bar had lots of choice and great food. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and it is ideally located to explore Toronto. We also booked a very enjoyable trip to Niagara Falls through the hotel concierge who made sure everything went smoothly despite us booking at the last minute. Highly recommend! "

"The Royal York is a landmark of classic hotel architecture and service in the middle of glass-&-steel downtown Toronto. We used the PATH underground walkway as well as the local and regional public transit, and also the free shuttle from the downtown Billy Bishop airport. We found many great dining options in and around the hotel. Or stay was during the holidays and the hotel was beautifully decorated. "
