I’m not one to rate hotels but our stay was mediocre at best when it comes to cleanliness. Our first room was dirty and had a broken door handle and clogged sink and trash along with contacts on the counter. We were moved to a different room and it was also dirty, old food in the fridge and the water pressure for the shower was awful. It felt like showing from a garden hose.

I got the hotel for my daughter’s birthday. She was excited. The room was clean but the bathroom toliet’s handle was broken so we tried to deal with it until it stopped flushing and we spent the rest of our stay smelling waste from the bathroom. The guy at the front desk gave us a voucher for breakfast and assured us that he would have it fixed. Needless to say he didn’t so we had to leave hours before checkout. Disappointed

The area surrounding the hotel has a lot of construction going on (it seems that is everywhere is Austin) but the hotel abuts Rainey St which has an abundance of great restaurants and bars with live entertainment. We also took a quick walk to Cenote for breakfast, a must go! It’s also a 5 minute walk to a trail abutting Lake Lady Bird, part of the Colorado River, where you can rent kayaks and paddle boards. It’s also not a far drive from the shopping district. The hotel is clean, modern, and staff were great. Wonderful pool with a bar beside it too.

Newish hotel right next to I-35. Nicely appointed and very clean looking. Hotel is very noisy and walls are paper thin. Could hear everything through the walls and endless road traffic noises all night long. Unauthorized charges were placed on my credit card after my checkout. Room had kitchen smells coming into it throughout the night. Must be a venting issue as it is located 2 floors above the kitchen. Wanted to love it but it fell short.

Great location, staff was friendly, amenities decent. Only issue was the cleanliness of the room itself. The bathroom was spotless, but the living area was a mess. Crumbs and hand prints and coffee grinds all over both counters. It could be just a fluke where someone was distracted and forgot to wipe these areas down, but you cannot miss those areas! They are reflective and show everything.

This has got to be the worst stay in Austin we have ever had! Got texts for a week before our stay from the property I thought neat they are going to be great! Negative! Got there checked in got our room and we were placed directly above the pool the music was blaring ALL night I mean 6am it’s still blaring! No one came and cleaned our room even after asking many times. Bring your own water because they don’t provide that or at least not in the room. Overall it was just a terrible experience I would never stay here again! The only plus is how close it is to walking Rainey street!
