"Quick and easy check-in. Staff were very attentive and helpful.
We were given an upgraded room along with a beautiful fruit and chocolate brownie plater because it was a birthday get away - so very much appreciated 😊
Room was beautiful, spacious, clean with a beautiful view of the golf course and Vale of Avoca.
Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice and had a wide window of timings, so if you fancied a longer lay in, it wasnt a problem.
We had dinner in the Bistro restaurant both nights and couldn't fault it. There was entertainment both evenings.
Will definately visit again"
"Wonderful sea view from our room on third floor. Very comfortable room and bed. Dined in restaurant on first evening and the meal was excellent and the service great. Also impressed with the breakfast the next day. All round it was a great stay and good value."

We recently stayed at Brooklodge in Macreddin Village, and it was a beautiful spot in Ireland. Our room and accommodation were lovely, but we did feel a little isolated being accommodated far from reception, which was located near the wedding venue. Despite the quiet time, the resort was not fully booked.
Pool and Outdoor Area: The pool was lovely, and the outdoor tub was a great feature. The grass area could use some tidying up, but the atmosphere was relaxing.
The staff were friendly, although we didn't see a manager during our 2-day stay.
It was great to see that the resort was dog-friendly, which added a nice touch. The hens were welcoming also.
Unfortunately, the food was a letdown. During our fine dining experience we found hair in one of the dishes during the 10-course tasting menu, it was early into our meal which had me nervously biting into the other 9. While the staff were efficient and apologetic, and Paul corrected the mistake with a replacement dish and a glass of red wine, it was a disappointing experience.
Our room was lovely, and the sound of the river outside fantastic. On opening the door to admire the view I was hit with cigarette smoke. The lady below our room was not as excited about the fresh country air dragging on her 3rd. Almost forgot we
got the Italian food on our first night it was nice! the pub atmosphere was great and bu with a friendly barman. Overall, it's a beautiful spot, and with some improvements, it could be an amazing dedestination."
