A curious property. We stayed for one night on our way back from the far North of NZ. No on-site dining of any kind was available: no breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The "Cafe" was closed.
Our room/studio was quiet, with a separate bedroom featuring the best mattress of our long trips to NZ.
The main room had a ton of floor space, with very little furniture, and a huge electric massage chair in one corner. Nothing bad, just peculiar!
Double french doors opened to a small terrace (table, 2 chairs) overlooking a fairway of the on-site 9-hole golf course. Green fees ($20/pp) were included with our stay, so we played a round on the same day we arrived. No need to book a tee-time or anything. Rented a hodge-podge bag of clubs for $20. Loads of fun!
So, no Cafe on site, but there were several decent spots within a 5-10 minute drive.
