"The rooms are beautifully decorated and well-stocked with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. One of our rooms had a huge, beautiful balcony. Only downside was that 3 of the outdoor chairs were broken. Our other room had a one inch gap so it was very noisy on the main street"

"The property is well located, there is a bus station about five minutes walk from the property so if you take the X3 bus from the airport you you literally get off at the last stop Bugibba, and it cost only two euro. The national aquarium is about three minutes walk away and there are various places to swim and do water sports basically on the doorstep. "A quirky old Maltese house. Very clean and comfortable room and bed with lovely harbour views. The roof terrace was lovely but the lighting was all from the floor upwards and made seeing to walk around rather dangerous. Also unable to see to read on the balcony too due to the lighting and no comfy chairs to relax outside. "

"It’s clean and comfortable for a couple nights … shower does not drain properly and needs attention… room is small and comfortable was not a big concern for us .. nice little walk into Valletta .. bus station near … and couple nice local bars … we paid for panoramic view .. I think should be changed as nothing panoramic about view which is misleading… a small balcony but cannot sit on as not enough room but was ok 👌 "

"Ideally situated excellent apartment in for what for me is the best resort area in Malta. 2 minutes from the sea front & 5 from the centre the owners were extremely helpful. Everything was as I would expect & I’d happily stay here again."

It was very well located, with restaurants and shops less than 5 minutes away, a short walk to the local beach, and easy to either get to the bus terminal or have a taxi come to the door. "Very nicely renovated apartment, spotlessly clean and has everything you need. The area is very quiet - we stayed during Easter break, not sure how this is different from other times. Bed was comfortable for me, hard for my husband - you can never please everyone :-D Why 4 star only, you might ask. This is because of the size of the duvet. "A disappointing apartment, certainly not worth over £110 per night. Very basic with unattractive furnishing. The advertised 'parking on site' is only 1 space for 2 apartments and was not available on our arrival - this should be made clear in the listing. There are cameras on the balcony and hot tub so we did not use either as it was so intrusive. When we arrived the bedsheets and towels smelt awful, they came to change but hardly any better. The air conditioning smelt bad and we had to sleep...

"Hotel was just as the photos showed. Meal options always a good variety to be had. Staff always friendly and polite. We didn't use the spa but pool was open until late and a good temperature. Buses we found to be so easy and frequent to use from outside the hotel connecting all over the island and €2 for a 2 hour ticket super value for money. Good variety of spots to eat in walking distance and some shops to browse around. Would stay here again if visiting Malta."

Perfect pre-Christmas get-away

"The hotel is lovely and is perfect if you want to stay in the heart of Valletta. The staff are friendly and helpful and James the restaurant manager was extremely polite, professional, friendly and helpful. The pools were lovely but the temperatures of both may have been more comfortable if they were warmer. The hotel is so clean and tidy and even smells amazing! "

"This is such a wonderful Hotel, all staff very kind, and accommodating. want to give a big shout out to one of the restaurant staff called Suhel, he was just outstanding to me and my parents on the trip, went above and beyond for what they needed and was so professional. All reception staff were incredible and were able to help with all enquiries. Spa was ok but stream room didn’t work and sauna kept getting cool over a period of time. There’s lots of construction around the hotel, so very loud in the morning if you want a lay in but no fault of the hotel and they were very apologetic. Great location. I Highly recommend this hotel. "

Loved this hotel

"Quite, clean, comfortable. Large rooms. Excellent breakfast, but go before 8:00. Close to Ponsonby bus stop which was convenient to get to Valetta and rest of island. Close to bay promenade and good restaurants. Simon on front desk was most helpful. Genuinely friendly people everywhere. "
