If elevators were functioning fine and there was no trouble to reach to destined floor, it’s a very good choice for Atlantic City. Internally connected with Bally’s and Caesar’s. Good room, very helpful staff and easy check-in/out process.

Our recent stay at the Claridge in Atlantic City was nothing short of disappointing. Despite the historic facade and hefty price tag, the reality was far from satisfactory. To begin with, only one out of the five elevators was operational during our entire stay. This resulted in frustratingly long wait times, with guests often packed into the lone functioning elevator. Surprisingly, the hotel staff prohibited the use of stairs, leaving us with no alternative means of reaching our room efficiently. Adding insult to injury were the exorbitant "resort fees" slapped onto our bill, on top of the already steep room rate. It felt like a blatant attempt to squeeze more money out of guests without providing any tangible additional services or amenities. Moreover, the absence of complimentary parking further soured our experience, forcing us to incur additional expenses just to park our vehicle. Security was alarmingly lax throughout the premises. There was a noticeable absence of security personnel, which made us feel uneasy, especially given the reputation of Atlantic City. It was concerning to see such disregard for guest safety and well-being. The rooms themselves were a mixed bag, with noise levels that made relaxation impossible. Despite voicing our concerns to the indifferent staff, no meaningful action was taken to address the issue. It was evident that guest satisfaction was not a priority for the hotel management. We will not return.

There are no stairs and there was a 25 minute wait for the elevator to get up to our room at check in… the lobby was a mad house because about 30 people we waiting for the elevator. The hotel hallways had heat blasting when the weather was 95 degrees out. Rooms wouldn’t go lower than 67 degrees and it was uncomfortable to sleep in.

This property is close to beach and board walk, Checkin was quick and easy, but as it maintains this hotel represents the historic building it doesn’t stand with the room quality. Its average hotel, in my room many of the electrical points were not working, bathroom required some fixes etc.

Faded splendour, a grand old traditional place. Reception and bar understaffed, although staff friendly and welcoming. Lifts are a nightmare, regularly waited 5 to 10 mins for a lift. Overall a decent place in a great location, at a sensible price. Would probably not return.

Only 2 elevators worked they were always full had to wait at least 20 mins 1 time just for an elevator that i could get on. Elevator kept jumping and is loud like a roller coaster. First room i was in smelled like sewer had to go to front desk and complain 5 times before i was finnaly switched to a better room. There was no tub for my little one only a stand up shower however the water eould not drain smh. The person at the desk did not care about my concerns at all. Horrible horrible first experience at this hotel. The parking lot smells like piss it wasnt what i expected. There is no microwave in the whole hotel and my cleaning person cleaned our room took the wash rags and didnt leave new ones just towels and hand towels so glad i always pack my own. I also asked to speak to a manager on 3 different occasions was told she would come to my room waited 35 mins she never showed smh
