"Awesome old hotel. Love the look and feel. Only (small) issue was it was a little warm in the room but it was worth it. Everything in walking distance. Would stay again. I did reserve a room with private bathroom. "

"It was very clean and well appointed. The location is fabulous for someone who wants to walk around Astoria and enjoy all the shops and great seafood. The staff were attentive and welcoming. The Knot's food was great quality and their drinks, delicious! Try the Mai Tai!"

"Staff were friendly and accommodating. Check-in was great, but when we got to the room it wasn’t the one I’d booked. However, the front desk staff resolved the issue quickly and we were moved to the correct room. We had a nice view of the water outside the room. Property is a little dated but everything was clean and comfortable. They had salmon chowder at 5:00 in the lobby, and the breakfast was good. The surrounding area is pretty industrial - we drove by a number of storage units to get to the hotel. However, it met our needs and we would stay there again."

"Love this hotel right on the beach! Great location, rooms are very nice and cozy. You can see haystack rock from your room. You can build a bonfire on the beach. I will definitely come back to this hotel. A++++"

"Room was comfortable and the AC worked well. Breakfast was good and generally was was a good start for a day. Kids enjoyed the pool and easy access to the riverfront walking trail but the trolley was unfortunately not running during our stay."

"It was quiet for us. We slept straight and woke up in time for grab and go breakfast. Bought few souvenirs. Front end waited for us for check in as we were running late. Everything is ***** for us considering we have been traveling for a long time. The only comment my husband gave is he needs an elevator. He’s older than me but usually no problems. He just run upstairs that’s why he thinks he needs an elevator. It’s still a very good stay :)"
